Hello, How are you? My name is Nissim and I am a tour guide and a lecturer in Jerusalem, Israel. I grew up in Paris, France in the local Jewish community and after high school I began studying in the faculty of law of La Sorbonne University. But it wasn't enough and I decided to immigrate to Israel. I served for 5 years in the IDF as an infantry officer, (Now I am a reserve infantry officer with the rank of Major) I got myself a BA in History and International Relations from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem and study Political Sciences. Before being a tour guide I worked in NGOs management. Now, in the last few years, I am a licensed tour guide. I studied 2 and a half years to get my license and be able to have the pleasure to guide you in the country and the city I love the most. What I am loving as being a guide is to be this guy who knows a lot about a lot and know how to use his knowledge from completely differents fields (History, Archeology, Science, Politics, Law, Sociology, Religions etc) to build a Story that will give you a real understanding of the place. It is like a tapestry that I will woven with you. From threads to patterns and from patterns to a big picture that people can understand and appreciate its beauty and complexity. And there is no country as beautiful and as complex as Israel and in Israel there is no city as beautiful and as complex as Jerusalem. The Bible, The three abrahamic religions (Judaism, Christianism and Islam), the Jewish story and History, one of the most mediatised conflict in the world, clashes and mixings of cultures from all over the world, the city with the biggest number of archeology sites from so many different times and civilizations, the Holy sepulchre and the Temple Mount, old and new etc etc. All of it at the same address: Jerusalem. In the last 20 years I am not just living in Jerusalem but I am living it and I'll be so glad to introduce you to my beloved city. Together we can tour the Old City, the local market with the best food in the world, the Temple Mount or the main archeological site (most of it underground and part of it in the water) of Jerusalem, the City of David. But don't forget that as a private tour guide, I can be completely flexible and we can completely customise your experience in Jerusalem , and even visit other parts of my beautiful country. See you soon Nissim Licensed tour guide I am not working on Saturday

Just outside the walls of the Old City of Jerusalem, the City of David archeoligical site is the place where the city began thousands years ago. Here you will visit Canaanite cyclopian buildings, be exactly on the same stones as the King David, walk inside the King Hezekia tunnel *in the water*, see the real Siloam Pool and walk the exact same street as Jesus. And what is extraordinary is the fact that most of the site is *underground*! This place is not just a archeological park and really not a boring one. It is a one in a life time adventure!
During this tour, We will see some of the most beautiful places, such as: - the City of David's main entrance, - King David Palace, - Warren Shaft, - Gihon Spring, - Hezekiah Tunnel, - Siloam Pool, - Teoropon Street - We will come back to the entrance or by the ancient sewer from 2000 years ago or by the modern shuttle. The itinerary is flexible, for any changes please let me know.
Tell your guide which places matter to you, skip what doesn't, and tailor the experience for your group's needs. Not finding what you want? Message your guide to build something unique.
