This tour introduces you to Jerusalem, its four quarters and the holy sites of the three major monotheistic religions, Judaism, Christianity and Islam. We'll explore the Jewish quarter, learn the story behind the Hurva synagogue and touch the Western wall, the wall closest to the Jewish temple and consequently the holiest site to Judaism. If possible, we'll go onto the Haram el-Sharif, the Noble sanctuary, to see the Dome of the Rock close-up and the Al Aqsa mosque the third holiest site to Islam (after Mecca and Medina) and then walk through the Arab shuq. We'll follow the path of the Via Dolorosa, visiting several churches to where Jesus was crucified and buried, today inside the Church of the Holy Sepulcher, the holiest site to Christianity.
This is the best tour guide we have ever had! Shmuel is very knowledgeable and address history in a very comprehensive and understandable way so you could really feel how is related to what he's showing you. Great storyteller! Amazing tour! Shmuel took us to the Old city of jerusalem and walked us throught the most important places. He explained everything very well and knew all the History. He was so excited and he transmitted that excitement about the city and all the stories behind. He made us love Jerusalem and understand the importance of this magic place.

Fabulous tour with Shmuel. We did the5 hour walking tour and he took us everywhere. Make sure you have the felafel pita in the shuk. Great knowledge of history. You can also tell him what you want to see, focus on, and he will work that in the tour. Also, his English is perfect. This is a great tour to take with Shmuel to really understand the old city
