2 days tour in Jerusalem and Bethlehem

Charlie is a great guide and super guy! Very friendly, excellent knowledge! He is very well connected in the community knowing each and everyone. Charlie made every minute of our two-day trips a unique und unforgettable experience. We highly recommend Charlie as a the perfect tour guide. Share your preferences with him and he will make the best out of it. If you do a private tour, consider booking a driver. We had Joseph as a great driver; not loosing pacience even in most challenging traffic situations.

Before meeting Charlie D, he was very responsive via email and customized our tour to meet the needs of our group. On meeting him, he was friendly, punctual and professional. He was an extremely knowledgeable guide on visiting Jerusalem, Bethlehem, Masada, Qumran and the Dead Sea. He was able to talk to us about the history, religion, politics, culture, cuisine, languages and landscape of the places we visited. Overall, a great experience!

This is our first Tours by Locals. I usually go Viator, but didn't like how their only option was to meet 7 a.m. @ Mamilla Hotel. I chose Charlie and Tours by Locals because he picked us up at our hostel. He was incredible--I asked him so many questions re: dress etc before we even got there, and he custom tailored our 2 day tour perfectly to what we wanted. My mother also has mobility issues, but he was great about helping her. My kids loved him, and nagged me about leaving him a great review. :-)

Charlie was a phenomenal and knowledgeable guide. He truly customized our tour and our experience based on what we wanted to learn, see and do.
