Nazareth and The Galilee

Shlomo is an excellent guide. We have used many guides from Tours by Locals and Shlomo is one of the best. His knowledge of the region and it's history - both from a political and religious perspective - was very impressive. His knowledge of the New Testament is that of someone who has not just read it, but studied it. Shlomo told us many stories that made history come to life. I recommend using Shlomo, without hesitation.

Shlomo is a kind man who has a sense of humor and tells good jokes. He keeps everything lite and doesn't worry about working to hard or talking a lot. Of course he is 71 years old so I would expect that. I enjoyed his ability to speak 6 different languages and he kept me safe from being over charged and dangerous areas of the Nazareth. I was feeling dehydrated, weak and dizzy so he ended the tour early for me and drove me home. A nice man. I appreciate his sensitivity.

We came to Israel to visit all of its religious sites. We had the pleasure of having Shlomo as our tour guide for 2 days for: old and new Jerusalem, Nazareth, Galilee, and the Dead Sea. He ensured we fully understood the meaning behind each religious site and its significance in Jesus' life. He took us to some delicious options for lunch! My favorite was St. Peter's Fish in Gallilee; it was delicious! Shlomo has so much insight to offer on Israel's history! He is a walking encyclopedia!

Above all, Shlomo (the guide) was very prepared, punctual, polite and well informed. The vehicle is fully equipped (leather seats, air conditioning, tinted windows, refrigerator, etc.). Shlomo even prepared cold water for us every day. The sights were fascinating, the dead stories exciting and informative. We had lunch and bathed on the shore of the Sea of Galilee, which was made unforgettable by the local fish. Nazareth, the Jordan River, every moment and sight will remain forever.

This tour was the highlight of our time in Israel. Galilee is breathtaking, and you get a real good sense of the world Jesus grew up in. We were even able to swim in the sea of Galilee! Shlomo takes it to the next level with his knowledge and storytelling skills. He really brings the world of Jesus to life! He was great with our children, keeping them engaged the entire time. He has so many local connections, he was able to really curate a unique experience just for us. You will not find a better guide

Shlomo was absolutely amazing and made the entire tour perfect! I would recommend him every single time to every group. He spoke Spanish for our grandmother and English for me just to go above and beyond!
