Saturday Night David's Tomb Experience

This tour offers a unique opportunity to join in the festivities that take place at the Tomb of King David every Saturday night. After the Sabbath, on Saturday night, Jews traditionally partake of a special meal called "Melave Malka" - the escorting of the Queen. " What does that have to do with King David, the most famous and righteous King of Israel? King David knew in his divine knowledge that he was destined to die on a Saturday. Every week, as the Sabbath finished and he found himself among the living, he threw a great party in celebration of receiving another week of life. I invite you to come along to the resting place of this great man in history and celebrate life alongside the multitude of locals that gather here every Saturday night and eat traditional food and enjoy traditional music and dance!
