Jerusalem through the eyes of a local

All I have to say is Wow! If you are looking for someone who knows how to maneuver through the crowds and get you into places you want to see as well as give really insightful answers to questions you have always had about Biblical and Jewish history, Charlie is the MAN! Based on what we heard from other people's experience with big tour groups we were afraid we wouldn't be able to enter the tomb of Jesus in the Church of the Holy Sepulchre. He got us to front of the line! Exceeded our expectations!!!

Look no further! Charlie is your man. He tailored our visit to our tight timeline but we missed nothing. He went the extra mile to ensure we were safe and treated with hospitality. We will be back and plan to have him plan our itinerary. Knowledgeable. Relatable. Sense of humor. Many people knew him in Jerusalem which I liked. I would give 6 stars if I could.

We have had many guides on our travels in the past but Charlie is by far the best. His knowledge is amazing. However, his ability to give you a candid backstage perspective on your journey through the intersecting maze of history-culture-religion-politics that Isreal represents has been highly appreciated. We enjoyed our days with Charlie and can highly recommend him to anyone who wants more than just the standard paraphrasing of the written guides.

From our first contact with Charlie, he was very responsive and helpful. He's a very knowledgeable guide and adapted the tour to our interests. Most importantly he's a really nice guy and made the day we spent touring the Old City interesting, informative and fun. This was definitely one of the highlights of our trip to Israel!
