As a resident of the Galilee and Golan for over 40 years I can take my guests to out of the way places and introduce them to the locals who will tell their stories first hand. The fascination I have for the local history allows me to show the many facets of Israel, be it Jewish, Christian, Muslim, Druze or Bahai alongside ancient history and current issues. The Sea of Galilee is the center of Jesus' early life and through the Galilean geography it is possible to get a better understanding of his message and calling which is relevant to all Christians and to Catholics in particular. Years working in agriculture help me explain the issues of the conflict over land and water, today. . . . and in the past. B.A. Israel Studies (History) & Tourism (2003). M.A. Israel Studies (History & Religion) - Kinneret Academic College (2020). Official Tour Guide License. License & Insurance to carry passengers including Bethlehem & Jericho. Active volunteer "MADA" ambulance service. Popular Astronomy instructor. "Youth at-risk" counselor (2003-2013). ODT activity guide.

So much to see. Three days of a unique tour through the eyes of someone intimately connected to Jerusalem from his first visit at age 17. The city means so much to so many people. We will get a glimpse of Jerusalem through history and the eyes of visitors through the ages. Good for all ages or different ages. . . . Some can finish their day in the afternoon and the others can continue on to experience the nightlife. Short drives to the Mt of Olives or to the Village of John the Baptist.

Day two: - Visit the room of the last supper and King David's tomb. - walk the Via Dolorosa - The different quarters of the City. Day three: - The Parliament - Knesset - Israel Museum with the Shrine of the Book and model of old Jerusalem - Yad VaShem - Holocaust museum - Ein Karem - the picturesque village of John the Baptist - Ride the length of Light Rail - fascinating look at different aspects of Jerusalem. - The "Old" Train station. . . functioning for 106 year
