I'm knowledgeable, experienced and passionate about Israel and would be delighted to show you the country. I was born in Israel but grew up in Ottawa, Canada, so I am a native English speaker. I have lived in Jerusalem with my family for more than 25 years and have been a licensed guide for more than 15 years. On this tour we'll go deep into the Israel Museum in Jerusalem, a world class museum of archaeology, Judaica, ethnography, art, photography and more. We'll be sure to visit the model 1:50 of Jerusalem in the Second Temple period about the time of Jesus and have an opportunity to visit the Shrine of the Book that tells the story of the discovery of the Dead Sea Scrolls and where some of the original Dead Sea Scrolls are on display. We can also visit 4 synagogues from around the world that have been moved and reconstructed at the museum. We can stroll in the Sculpture garden. And of course, we'll check out the current temporary exhibits. A visit to the museum is a great introduction to your visit to Israel and if you've already toured some of Israel's sites the museum will display a wide selection of archaeological artifacts that were found, a win either way.
