A native Israel, I was born and raised in Tel Aviv. After completing my army service with the IDF Spokesman's office, I pursued a degree in Economics from Tel Aviv University. After 2 years in Sydney, Australia, I decided to return to Israel to work as an economist and journalist for economic dailies. After 14 years in this field, I decided to change direction and pursue my true passion of sharing Israel with visitors from abroad. So I completed the Israeli tour guide course and since then I am working as full time as a licensed Israeli Tour Guide, specializing with small groups. I primarily guide individuals and families, both Jewish and Christian, conveying my love of Israel and my wealth of knowledge about this land and its people. I do have many interests including history, politics, nature, culture and religion and I am also a sports enthusiast who like good food and wine. Only to mention that I am conversant in both English and French. From the moment we embarked on our round-trip adventure from Tel Aviv, it was evident that we were in the hands of a true expert . As we set off on the road to Jerusalem, Ron immediately began enlightening us about the rich cultural heritage of the region. His profound knowledge of the area's history, religion, and politics made the journey even more enriching. It was clear that he had a deep affection for the city and took pride in showcasing its treasures to us.
Ron was awesome to work with. He allowed me to plan ahead, and do Bethlehem, Jerusalem, and the Dead Sea in an elongated full day! He gave us a guided tour of Jerusalem and got us to the gates of Bethlehem and arranged for a guide to walk us thru. The sites were incredible.
