Jerusalem is the holy city. The holiest city for the 3 monotheistic religions: Judaism, Christianity and Islam. Join me and together we will tour the streets of the old city of Jerusalem, together we will try to deeply understand its holiness. We will visit all the holiest places where millions of tourists come every year. The tour will focus on the Old City of Jerusalem, We will go to all 4 quarters of the city (Armenian, Jewish, Muslim, Christian), the Church of the Holy Sepulcher, Via Dolorosa, the Machazi Cardo, the Western Wall, and we will go up (if possible) to the Temple Mount. We will learn and hear about times of mighty kings, brave prophets, a history of immense dimensions, and multiculturalism, all of which exist in a small and dense city. We will try to understand together how 3000 years of history affect our days and regional politics. It will be fascinating!
On the tour, we will visit all 4 quarters of the city (Armenian, Christian, Muslim, and Jewish) and learn about the history and religious traditions. Among other things, we will visit the Western Wall, and the Temple Mount (on Fridays and Saturdays and Muslim holidays the Temple Mount is closed to visitors, instead the tour will visit the room of the Last Supper and King David's tomb), Via Dolorosa and the Church of the Sepulcher. The itinerary is flexible, for any changes please let me know.
