Focusing on the multiple narratives woven into Jerusalem's history. We will drive through modern Jerusalem to our first stop, the Israel Museum, where amongst many important artifacts, we will see a model of the city from the second temple period and the shrine of the book with the Dead Sea Scrolls - the most important discovery of the 20th century, from the historical, archaeological and theological points of view for both Judaism and Christianity. We will then continue to the holocaust museum Yad Vashem. For our next stop we will drive to Ein Karem, the birth place of John the Baptist, and from there to Bethlehem, the birth place of Kind David, where we will pass by the Shepherds Fields and visit the Basilica of Nativity, where it all began.
