Overview of your Jerusalem tour

**Starting the Day:** Depart from your hotel and drive through the Judean Desert, heading south. As we travel, we'll pass by Qumran, the site where the renowned Dead Sea Scrolls were discovered. **Massada Visit:** Arrive at Massada, the historic fortress of King Herod the Great. We will spend approximately two hours exploring the impressive Roman palaces and other significant structures at this ancient site. **Dead Sea Experience:** Conclude the day with a unique experience at the Dead Sea. Enjoy floating in its highly saline waters, renowned for their therapeutic qualities. **Return to Jerusalem:** On our way back to Jerusalem, we will pass through Jericho, the oldest city in the world, time permitting.

We had the most amazing full day tour with Yousef. He let us change our itinerary at the last minute to include our daughter and to visit Ein Gedi instead of Qumran. He was always prompt, friendly, and very competent; and went WAY out of his way to make sure we enjoyed ourselves in every way possible: he took innumerable, amazing photos of us, even bought us mud for our Dead Sea swim, and drove around multiple beaches to find the best spot for us. He is also super funny and knowledgable. Awesome!

Yousef customized our tour like no other will. We toured of Masada, Qumram, Dead Sea starting 8am in the morning. He brought us back to our Hotel in Jerusalem to shower and get dressed. He then drove us to Tel Aviv for a 8 pm Basketball Game between Auburn Tigers and Israel National Team. Around 11 pm he drove us back to Jerusalem. It was a long day but, it was going to the game with a friend. He bought things for us like the mud for dead sea, Believe me, you want a great driver in Israel Traffic

Yousef got us to Masada in time to avoid any queues and went directly to the plateau. Unhurried and informative tour of the fortifications. As things got busy we descended in the cable car without waiting. Got to the bottom and could hardly move for the crowds waiting for the car to the top. On Yousef's advice we went to a public beach on the Dead Sea. Beautifully clean, all the facilities you'd need and practically deserted. Yousef has to be one of the most skillful and savvy guides on this entire site.
