Hello there, Who am I? that is a question for the ages, my name is Ameer (a title in an Arabic state that means 'prince'), I am Palestinian, born in Bethlehem 5 minutes walking from the place of birth of Jesus Christ the Messiah. I am a second class citizen in my country, by faith a Muslim born to a family from both sides that is a revert from Christianity and dates back to ancient times of Israelites, down to the pagan. Therefore I am a student of religion and history. I am almost close to claim my universality in this world; However, Sometimes I see the Westerns Media and I feel as if we are a people who came out of nowhere, and extra people! I am a professional tour guide in my country, I am a student of theology, history, archeology and philosophy. I am a pure truism worker, I am a graduate of the Bethlehem Bible College from which I got my credential to be an official tour guide. And I am a graduate from Bethlehem University, in which I received my Diploma in Hotel Management. I've been working in Tourism for the past eight years of my life meeting and greeting foreigners working in Hotels and Restaurants and quiet often end up debating or conversating to find myself one day a Licensed Tour Guide In The Occupied Territories Of Palestine... When they say it is not personal, just business! I think anything in this world must be personal otherwise it wouldn't translate. This is a job but it is a noble job, it will always require you to be attentive, caring and thrive in the intellectual conversation. Especially the recent events that are occurring and changing the dynamic of the contemporary history. Where I live is the cradle of Ideologies and Civilizations, a small place that changed history and still is. As many people come to find peace in the corners of this land and find their faith renewed. But, the contemporary history is confusing. Well, I once read for a great poet in South America named Jose Marti, he said "I come from all the parts, and towards all the parts I am going" My part of the world is an interesting part to see and know about, as it keeps being the most important piece of the puzzle of this planet spiritually, historically and politically. See you soon!
