Hello travellers to Ireland. My name is Mia and I run tours in a 16 seater Mercedes minibus so it's ideal for small groups of 6 or more people. I am based in the medieval city of Kilkenny in Ireland's ancient east. It's perfect as a base for day trips to the Rock of Cashel, Blarney Castle, Viking Waterford and even as far west as the Cliffs of Moher. I love all things Irish; the people, culture, gaelic games, our food, whiskey and beers. I can share these passions to small groups on a private tour. I love travelling myself and seeing new places, meeting people, sharing stories, experiencing different food and cultures and seeing amazing sites in different countries. I have worked in Irish tourism for 12 years and I still learn something new about Ireland on every tour!!! That's why I love it, every tour is different and introduces me to new people with whom I can share my beautiful country with. I am a National Accredited tour guide. I deliver the tour in a professional but relaxed way, it's your Irish experience so please do tell me your likes so I can tailor it to your wishes be that fast paced or more leisurely, make an ad hoc stop for a coffee or a pint in a traditional pub as you wish. I love Irish history and culture and am more than happy to regale you with tales from our colourful past and bring you up to date with modern Ireland also. I love to travel myself. I know that one of the the best parts of travelling is meeting the locals. If you travel with me you will have an authentic Irish experience and receive a warm welcome everywhere you go. Mia took our group (9 family members) on a 5-day tour and we had a blast! She helped us plan our itinerary before the trip, and suggested stopping at some places that we wouldn't have thought to include along the way. She was also super knowledgeable about everywhere we stayed, and offered dinner and pub recommendations after dropping us off at the hotel. It was impressive to watch her navigate a tour bus around the "two lane" country roads we took! Highly recommend booking with Mia!

Our 5 day tour was well planned with flexibility to spend more or less time as needed. We adjusted a few days which made the entire experience comfortably paced and enjoyable. Being a small group we were able to avoid the crowds while never missing a single photo or scenic overlook. Mia is well spoken/travelled, quick witted, and probably the best quality is her ability to read the room. She effortlessly accommodated our foodie and active lifestyles so that we could eat well and be active each day.
