I was born in Brussels and grew up in a small village in Rhodes. I studied Geography in my second favourite island, Lesvos and have a great interest in geopolitics and demography. I have worked for 10 years as a geographer - cartographer and I have taken part in several municipal projects and state surveys. A very important project in my life was Rhodescape experiences and Rhodescape adventure park (2017 - 2022) at the lake of Apolakkia in south Rhodes. A vision, to create an adventure - ecological park at the village I grew up, became true! For the last 8 years I have a license by the Greek Tourism Organisation to offer daily excursions in our island with special activities and experiences. Through these excursions I try to offer my guests unforgettable days and convince them to come back for more days. All my tours are flexible, so that they can meet different preferences and can be adjusted according to traveler's needs. I am well aware that visitors seek to explore the beauty of a destination and make new friends there. Most tourist packages offer rather the "fast food" experience with no personal contact. I think that I can offer the services needed by a traveler rather than the typical tourist. Beautiful experiences - activities, authentic food and smiles are the key to become a group of friends at the end of the day with my guests. The love I have for my island and a passion to show people its beauty, as well as my need to communicate with people from all over the world, led me to a job perfectly suitable for me, which I enjoy doing everyday. I have a license by the Greek Tourism Organisation to offer daily excursions with activities. I have a degree in Geography and a Master's degree in Master in Geopolitics and Strategic Studies. I am not a licensed guide and will not be able to guide you inside the historical monuments.

A tour through local tastes in the most authentic side of the island, away from massive tourism. You will taste several local products such as wine, honey, olive oil in different villages. You will also visit the castle of Kritinia where you will taste "our'' special and strong local drink, souma and some more local products as well. At the end of this beautiful day a gift for you will be a bottle of local wine, honey, and the local candy, 'melekouni'. The smells and tastes of our island will be following you after this experience.
This is more than just a wine tour. Savos took us to a place for lunch that was incredible. Enjoying a 8 course authentic Greek meal with local patrons was a memory we will never forget. This is authentic Greek immersion away from the busy port city. Loved it!

We very much enjoyed our magical day with Savvas. Way off the beaten tourist track, we saw the inner beauty of Rhodes — the landscape and its people. At every stop, we met real human beings living their lives and doing it well. No phony tourist shills, these were people who cared about their wines, the food, and all the people around them. Plus they were fun to hang out with.
Savvas was a great host for us on our tour of Rhodes. We all enjoyed getting to see this beautiful island. We highly recommend him.
Fist destination: Apollona, a village on mountainous Rhodes, after 40 min drive. Visit the local winery and wine tasting. Then we drive through Rhodes "highlands and 25 min later we end up in Empona, where we taste some local products and more . . . wine! Our next stop (20 min. drive) is Kritinia, where we tase the "magic" drink and some products - little plates (meze) of my friend George. * IF you wish, we can have a really authentic greek lunch at his restaurant. Our next stop is the medieval castle of Kritinia and the little beach of Kopria (5 minutes) On our way back by the west coast we watch the sun setting over the sea thinking that Wine is the answer, even if we don't remember what was the question ; )
