Hello! I'm Margarita, a passionate local guide from the beautiful island of Rhodes, the island of the sun god Apollo. Rhodes is a place of rich history and mythology, home to one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World, the Colossus of Rhodes! If you're looking for a tour filled with vivid stories, myths, and plenty of humor, you've come to the right place! I grew up surrounded by ancient monuments and medieval alleys, learning the secrets and traditions that make this place truly unique. I speak English, Greek, and Italian, and I offer a variety of tours: historical walks, cultural experiences, scenic hikes, and even cooking and pottery classes for those who want to immerse themselves in local traditions! My guests often say that my tours are among the best they've ever experienced because they are more than just a guided walk – they are a journey through time, full of discoveries and surprises. I love bringing history to life through storytelling and painting vivid pictures with my words. Beyond history, I will introduce you to Greek culture and traditions, immersing you in local customs, Greek music, traditional dances, and, of course, delicious authentic cuisine. Whether it’s tasting traditional dishes, learning a few dance steps, or experiencing the warmth of Greek hospitality, I’ll make sure you feel like a true local! Join me to explore the hidden gems of the city and create unforgettable memories together! I am a professional authorized tour guide so i will be able to lead you into all the archeological areas, monuments , museums and points of interest.
