The Very Best of Rhodes: Full-Day Shore Excursion

Rhodes was a fabulous cruise destination, and Mike was a superior guide! He was extremely knowledgeable and informative, and he had the day well planned. We saw many medieval sites in the Old Town of Rhodes, including the Palace of the Grand Master of the Knights of Rhodes, and so much more! We made a stop at a local ceramics facility and watched as the artist crafted a piece of pottery. We had lunch beachside (best gyro meat platter - EVER!) and explored so much of the city. This tour included a stop in Lindos, which had cute shops. There is an option to walk up to the Acropolis (older than the one in Athens), but it was so very hot that we opted not to make the hike. If you do plan on doing this walk, you should ensure you are well prepared. If your travels take you to Rhodes, I would highly recommend seeking out Mike as your guide - you will not be disappointed!

Taking this Rhodes tour with Mike was the best decision we could've made. Not only did Mike take us to the usual spots but he took us where other tours won't. He was very informative, helpful and was fun to be with. I would definitely recommend this tour to family and friends. Thank you Mike for being part of our family vacation.

This was a well organized trip. Mike got us to all the highlights in the areas we wanted to see. He was very informative and we understood everything. He said we had one of the best meals we had on any vacation when he brought us to a place for some fish and it was prepared perfectly and made it a fun afternoon. I would certainly suggest Mike as a caring and capable guide when in Rhodes.

We had a great full day tour with Mike. He took us to all the major sites on the island — both historical and cultural, as well much of the natural scenery on the island of Rhodes. He had great insights that he provided along the way. He was an excellent guide for us, and he provided us a fun experience and a lot of great information.

This was an amazing tour. Our guide, Mike, was truly gifted and incredibly knowledgeable. Having lived on the island his entire life, he provided a unique perspective on the history and culture that we wouldn’t have experienced otherwise. The tour was well-balanced and we never felt rushed. Rhodes is an incredible place, and without a guide like Mike, we would have missed so much. Before the tour, communication with Mike, via WhatsApp, was excellent. He clearly coordinated our meeting details, which made the start of the day completely stress-free. Great tour from Mike. Knows the island inside and out. Directed us to all kinds of beautiful and out of the way places we could not have done on our own, in addition to the major sites. Also had a fabulous fresh lunch at a quiet place by a local beach . Thoughtful gestures along the way - like grabbing some fresh fruit to try, picking some fresh herbs and orange blossoms. Highly recommend him .
