Highlights of Lindos & Medieval City of Rhodes

On this full day guided tour we’ll drive to the New Town of Rhodes and visit the Old Harbour where according to tradition, the legendary Colossus of Rhodes once stood. Through a panoramic drive,I will bring to Rhodes Acropolis,where you will marvel at the architecture of Apollo’s temple as well the ancient Stadium. What comes next is Lindos, one of the ancient cities of the island,with its picturesque white washed village ,captains houses and pebbled pavements.We will also enjoy Saint Paul’s bay and the outstanding Acropolis of Lindos with its spectacular views. I will also offer taking a break to go on a leisurely stroll. A demonstration of greek ceramic art will impress you at a local pottery. What comes next is a visit to the Medieval City of Rhodes, seeing a monument of UNESCO S World Heritage declaration ,the Grand Masters Palace and the historical street of the Knights with the facades of the Inns. Take the opportunity to walk on top of Greek history and travel back in time!

-We will drive to the Town of Rhodes and then reach the Acropolis of Rhodes. -Our tour will continue with a scenic drive along the east coast for an hour. -After that, we’ll arrive at the parking area of Lindos where we will get out of the vehicle -We will start the tour of Lindos with a walk to and through its village, and then head back to its Acropolis. -After visiting Lindos we will get back on the vehicle and start driving back. -On our way back we will visit a pottery. -If you’re hungry, we could have a lunch break -We will continue till we reach the medieval Town, which we will enter through the gate D ‘Amboise. -Here we will get off the vehicle and continue walking. -After the visit of the Palace of the Knights as well as the street of the Knights, we will head to the Marine Gate. -At the Marine Gate our driver will pick us up again. -The tour will end back where we started.
