Overview of your Rhodes tour
Rhodes is a blessed island, rich in history and iconic landmarks that attract countless visitors. Yet, beyond the well-known sights, hidden gems await, offering breathtaking beauty. Join us on a journey to uncover them! Our first stop is Filerimos, the Acropolis of Ialysos, one of Rhodes’ three ancient city-states. Visit the monastery dedicated to the Virgin Mary, walk along Martyr’s Street, and admire the stunning views from the large cross at the end of the path. Peacocks roam freely, ready to greet you! Next, we explore Kamiros, one of the world’s best-preserved ancient cities, where visitors can walk through streets lined with baths, temples, homes, and squares. We then head to the medieval castle of Kritinia, built by the Knights of Saint John in the 15th century, offering panoramic views of the Aegean Sea. Finally, we visit Apollona, a traditional mountain village, where we’ll enjoy a relaxing atmosphere and a delicious lunch at one of the island’s finest restaurants.
Your Rhodes tour itinerary
-Meet at the designated location. -Drive to Filerimos, located 15 minutes from the city of Rhodes, with one hour to explore the area. -Enjoy a scenic 30-minute drive along the coast before arriving at Kamiros, where we will stop for one hour. -Continue to the medieval castle of Kritinia, with a 45-minute stop to explore. -Depart from the castle and drive approximately 30 minutes to reach Apollona village. -Return to the meeting point. The itinerary is fully customizable! You can adjust the stops or the time spent at each location according to your preferences. Being a licensed tourist guide i am authorised to guide you into archeological areas, monuments and museums!
