Hello, My name is Marinos. Born and raised in the culture and traditions of this paradise called Crete. Born in the 70s, I still enjoy many activities on this island, such as walking, hiking, swimming, and snorkeling in the marvelous sea. I also cherish the relaxing moments and celebrations with friends and family, which often include Cretan dancing and, of course, indulging in Cretan food and fine Cretan wine (not when I'm driving, of course). I am still thirsty for learning more about the interesting history of this island, where there are many fascinating facts to discover. This thirst for knowledge led me to acquire certification as an executive in thematic tourism enterprises and certification in wine tourism… For now… More to come in the future. . In 2010, this decision led me to make a career change and become a tour leader in my homeland. I am passionate about not just showing glimpses of my country but sharing my enthusiasm with the people who join the tours. To me, they become like family, and I enjoy imparting my knowledge about the culture, history, mythology, flora and fauna, as well as the tastes and flavors of Crete. My goal is to ensure that they experience the island of Crete with all their senses and feel at home by the end of the tour.
