West Crete - Chania + Rethimno old town.

We had an unforgettable experience with the best guide ever! We were 4 ladies coming to Crete for the first time and Ed did an amazing job of making sure that we were comfortable, learned and saw a lot, and took us to the very special places. He was super fun and energetic, spoke perfect English and Russian, gave us a lot of great recommendations and was in touch for the whole duration of our Greek journey answering any questions we had. The best experience ever!

Edmond was a fantastic guide! We saw so much of the western side of beautiful Crete, from narrow lanes in scenic Chania to sweeping views of the glowing blue sea. A great driver, Ed was engaging, thoughtful, and passionate about his home island. He knew tons about history and culture, food, nature, tourism, and so much more. He was also lots of fun to be with, very easy-going and upbeat. The day was packed with so many special moments that we will never forget. (And I learned how to order espresso freddo!) My husband James and I recommend booking a tour with Ed to anyone visiting Crete—you will be glad you did.

We are a group of 6 adults who booked a private tour with Ed, based on his previous excellent reviews. We all thought that this was the best day trip we had been on. You have to be prepared for a long drive, but it was well worth it. Ed also customised the tour for us to take in places we wanted to see, including the Commonwealth War Graves. Lunch by the beautiful lake in the mountains was lovely, as was the trip to the Arkadi Monastery. Ed is informative and humorous and shares his passion for Crete.

Edmond is simply the best tour guide we have ever had! He truly gives an amazing experience! We visited western Crete and learned so much about history, myths, ate amazing food and had a fantastic experience. He is so friendly, knowledgeable, and we recommend him to everyone! We had a great day with Edmond! My husband and I did a private tour for the whole day with him. Edmond drove us to great places and was very entertaining and fun to be with. He is extremely knowledgeable on the history of Greece. He is also an excellent driver and we felt vert safe with him. It was one of our best days in Greece. Ed was fantastic! High energy and kept us entertained the whole drive from Heraklion-Knossos-Chania. Shared lots of education and culture during the whole ride and took us to some off beaten track spots for food and views. Pick up at airport was seamless. Loved having a local to share the long drive, such a great day with him! Highly recommend!!
