After a 1. , 30 hours guided tour we head towards the centre of the city of Heraklion for a walking tour to feel its buzz. See the Lions fountain of Morosini where locals meet up for a snack or drink. Taste local delicacies such as souvlaki or bougatsa in the heart of the town or buy local products. After this or before, a guided tour at the Archeological museum of Heraklion will implement your knowledge of the magnificent Minoan civilization. Discover the first Advanced European civilization of the Bronze Age in Knossos.

Your Heraklion tour itinerary

Our first stop will be the Palace of Knossos at the outskirts of the city of Herkalion, only 7km (4, 3 miles) away to begin our tour. - 1. 30 hr at Knossos Palace with guided tour - Travel from Knossos by taxi to city centre 10 mins. Transport not included. There's a local taxi and it's close to the centre - Archeological museum 1.15 hour guided tour - City tour 0:35 mins Overall time duration 4 hours The tour can start either from Knossos or from Heraklion Archeological Museum upon request.

For larger groups a mini van with a separate driver is needed.A small meal is included at the centre of Heraklion as part of the tour at an extra cost of 30 Euros paid in cash for the expenses of the tour as explained in the description.
