I would love to share my love for the island of Crete with you during one of my tours! Crete has been my base and my home for the past 7 years, although I have lived in different places such as Athens, the U.K. and Spain for several years. I’m a licensed tour guide from the National School of Tour Guides in Greece and I try to bring the island’s rich history to life through engaging and immersive experiences. My previous background in Psychology and Counseling, as well as a master’s degree in Social and Solidarity Economy, have shaped my approach – one that values human connection, adaptability and people’s stories. Having lived in different countries, I understand diverse perspectives and enjoy creating personalized tours that cater to different interests and bring out the similarities between the different cultures. I moved back to Crete to embrace a slower pace of life, spending more time closer to nature and engage in food production, by helping with the family’s orchards and I even have my own garden! My aim is to share the Cretan way of life, introduce you to local people and businesses, show you the hidden gems and offer you a deeper understanding of the island’s history, culture and traditions. I provide a warm, professional and flexible experience, allowing room for spontaneity.

Explore the world of the Minoans on a full-day journey that blends, archaeology, nature, village life and hands-on learning. We begin with a guided tour of the Palace of Knossos, exploring the myths of the Labyrinth and the daily life of Europe's earliest civilization. Then we head to the charming village of Archanes, surrounded by vineyards and olive groves, where we'll join a local artisan for an hour-long workshop on Minoan Art and Symbols. A perfect way to step into the ancient world of the Minoans. After a relaxed Cretan lunch in a family-run taverna, we make our way back to the city to visit the archaeological Museum of Heraklion. Home to the finest Minoan Collection, such as frescoes, jewellery, tools and sacred objects that help us connect all the threads of the day. A perfect way to visit the most important archaeological site of Crete combined with meeting local people and experiencing the local culture.
1. Explore the legendary Palace of Knossos, the political, ceremonial and commercial center of the Minoan civilization. A place where archaeology meets mythology and 19th century history of the excavations. 2. Visit the village of Archanes, known for its traditional charm and vibrant local culture. 3. Engage in an hour-long workshop in the Idols Art Experiences in Archanes, where you will learn about the Minoan Art and religion and experiment with the ancient scripts. Minimum participation of 4 people for this workshop to run. 4. Enjoy a traditional lunch in Archanes. 5. Visit the Archaeological Museum of Heraklion.
