An exuberant and memorable guide who provided an entertaining day of exploration. Our only criticism is that he pushes back on clients' attempts to alter his intended route, but the tour he provided was fun and informative.

Welcome to Crete. My name is Ed and I am proud to say that Crete is my home and I would like to take you on a private tour to show you the real side of Crete and learn about local life and traditions. I have been working in the tourist industry, for the last 23 years. I have had the pleasure of meeting and befriending people from all over the world. As a private tour leader I show my passion for my beautiful Island. I am naturally friendly with an outgoing personality and my aim is to make your experience as enjoyable, informative and most importantly as fun as possible. I enjoy sharing information of the local culture, values and traditions when taking groups of tourists to different attractions and archeological sites. I would be more than happy to share with you my knowledge and local experiences to make you feel like a local for a day. Crete has so many areas of unspoilt natural beauty, which can be better appreciated and explored when being shown around by a local resident. Crete is famous for its hospitality so why not enjoy some Cretan experiences, local traditions and cuisine in beautiful surrounding with me. If you want a personalised tour, different from the ones offered, please just ask. Together we will create the perfect trip tailored to your wishes. I'm at your disposal also for multi day tours. Licensed from the Greek Ministry of Tourism MHTE= 1039e60000326201 I have over 23years experience in the tourist industry. I am a tour leader and tour agency owner so I have different vehicles and organize private tours all over Crete. My strengths are communication skills in many languages, my passion for Crete and my abilty to put people at easy. My goal is to provide my clients with the very best Cretan experience. I want us to meet as guests but leave as friends. I don’t sell tours …. I sell experiences ………and create memories.

If you want a full day trip exploring East Crete, Spinalonga Island, St Nicholas city , a few old traditional villages and visit an olive oil factory where we learn how olive oil is made with old and modern machinery then you have got nothing else to do but joining me for an adventure where I can show you my home island Crete (not Spinalonga ) and make most of our trip . Spinalonga Island has a very interesting story: back in the beginning of the 20's century, more specifically 1903, it became a leper colony where people were sent there to be isolated from others until 1957 and it was one of the last active leper colonies in Europe. We will stop at a family restaurant to enjoy lunch but it's OPTIONAL. I am more than willing to customize the tour on your wishes and needs by adding or skipping different places .

Had a great day with Edmund. He is great guide with a lot of knowledge of Greece and especially Crete. Very good English and fun to be with. A beautiful drive to Spinalonga and Eloundo Bay. Ended the day with wine tasting. Good wines and great views from winery.
Excellent! Thank you! We really enjoyed our day.
We really enjoyed the tour and Ed our guide.
Edmund exceeded all expectations as our guide. He was hugely informative, warm, friendly and funny. We learned a tremendous amount about the sites we visited and saw a personalized side of Crete we would have missed otherwise. I can't recommend him and this tour more highly.
We knew it would be a great day with Edmond's happy greeting and crazy energy! We asked 100 questions about Heraklion and Spinalonga and he answered them all... with a lot of laughs included. To our surprise he arranged a private boat ride to the island. It was a treat! Our lunch at a local restaurant was by the bluest sea... I can still taste it! Yum! Edmond was a great host, he added personality and experience to the entire trip including our stop at the olive oil factory. We made a friend in Greece!
