Overview of your Dresden tour

Nature and Royalty impress - but in very different ways. Come with me to find out. In Pillnitz the Saxon rulers created their summer residence. I invite you for a leisurely walk through the park and you will get to know how and where our royalty used to enjoy themselve and impressed their guests, like you will be. This leisure park is man made but nature formed the bizarre rocks and cliffs of the area known as Saxon Switzerland. With me you will follow the traces of the Romantics to some of the most impressiv view points - like the Bastei. The view from this rock is simply breathtaking. Königstein fortress which crownes one of the table mountains was infamous - a place people didn't want to be. But we want to see and conquer it. I will tell and show you how.

Your Dresden tour itinerary

On the way to Saxon Switzerland we will - stop in Pillnitz - continue to the Bastei Here we will have our lunch break. A scenic route - passing rocks, table mountains, Bad Schandau brings us to - Königstein fortress, which we will conquer together.
