I have been working as a tour guide here in Dresden for more than 20 years now. I really enjoy showing my guests the beautiful city of Dresden, its museums and surroundings. Overview of your Dresden tour

The historical city centre is the place for seeing our jewels: the most famous historical buildings and the treasury. The splendor of the residence of Saxony is reflected in all those beautiful places like the Royal Palace, the Zwinger, the Cathedral and the Church of Our Lady, which were all reconstructed after the Second World War. My stories bring the history of these places alive and tell you how we managed this - the old splendour of the baroque residence is back. This is also true in the New Green Vault, the new presentation of our treasury. With me you can look behind the facade of the treasures, the automatons - you will be surprised! How did the Grand Mogul Aurangzeb celebrate his birthday? What are the cups of The golden Coffee set made of? My guided tour will give you the answers.

Your Dresden tour itinerary

We will start with the walking tour in the old town, then enjoy the treasures in the New Green Vault in the Royal Palace. Of course we can also do it other way around, as you like it. If you prefer to see instead of the Treasury an other collection like the Armoury or the Old Masters Gallery, this is also possible. Whatever your interests are, I am flexible. Due to the opening hours of the museums in the palace and with this the New Green Vault cannot be visited on Tuesdays. The Old Masters Gallery is closed Mondays.
