I have been working as a tour guide here in Dresden for more than 20 years now. I really enjoy showing my guests the beautiful city of Dresden, its museums and surroundings. For me this means not only to tell you about history, but also about culture, traditions, and the local life here (yesterday and today). I grew up not far from Dresden and now for more than 30 years I have lived here in Dresden and experienced its many changes - especially those the reunification brought about. Every day you can see more of the splendour and treasures of this amazing city. And it will be a pleasure for me to show them to you! What makes Dresden even more fantastic is its breathtaking surrounding. Picturesque old towns like Meissen and impressive rock formations - the Saxon Switzerland - you can also discover with me. I studied English at the Dresden Technical University and spent one year in Great Britain. I am a licensed guide in Dresden and in most of its museums. State Exam for English and German (TU Dresden) Licensed Guide in the City of Dresden Licensed Guide for: Old Masters Picture Gallery New Green Vault (Treasury) Armoury Turkish Chamber Royal Palace Dresden Moritzburg Palace Meissen Porcelain Manufactory Member of the Dresden Guide Association Member of the Federal Association of Guides in Germany •I am not a driver. I can accompany you in your vehicle or I can arrange for a separate car and driver.

You want to see the highlights and more and in a different way? Come - take a bike and we cycle to some of the most beautifull, interesting places of Dresden. During our biking tour I'll also show you some of the best hidden corners that only locals know. After I gave you a selected overview of the high lights of the old town we cycle to the Great Garden (passing the Museum of Hygiene and the Transparent Manufactory by VW) and continue through the villa district Blasewitz to the Elbe madows. The slopes of the river are crowned by the three Elbe palaces - great to enjoy this view. The Elbe cycling path brings us back to the city cente, where we cross the river to the Canaletto view. With the Golden Horseman, the Japanese Palace and the artisan court yards you see the obvious and hidden treasures of the Inner (baroque) New Town. The Outer New Town is the alternative district of Dresden with pubs, nice little shops and the Arts Courtyards. Discover with me its secret treasures.
After we have left the Old Town we will soon enter the Great Garden, continue through the villa district Blasewitz to the Elbe river. Following the Elbe cycling path we will reach the city centre again, cross the river to discover the Inner and Outer New Town which offer golden and very colourfull glimses of Dresden. If you like we can stop for a refreshment in a beer garden or so.
