On a 4 day trip you will see renaissance and baroque or older towns and villages, monasteries and churches, castles and holy places. Our journey leads us through romantic landscapes around Bautzen , Jelenia Gora, Riesengebirge, Liberec, Sudeten, with green valleys, hills and forests, picturesque mountains as well. Per day we need 7 to 8 hours plus lunch break among the locals, who are deeply rooted with their region, mostly for many generations. Tell me how many days you wish. Day 1: Zittau fasting lenten, Wallenstein's castle Friedland, Liberec and the Church of the Visitation. (CZ) Day 2: Journey through the Jelenia Gora valley to the Norwegian stave church in Karpacz. Lunch stop at Lomnica Palace, visit to the Cistercian abbey in Krzeszow. (PL) Day 3: St. Marienthal convent, Herrnhut - the origin of the brotherhood, Oybin monastery ruins. Medieval Bautzen on request ( 2 hours more ) (D) Day 4: Görlitz with the "Holy Sepulchre", St. Peter's church with recital on the "Sun Organ" and via Jelenia Gora to the Church of Peace in Jawor. (D/PL) More days possible if you wish to include e. g. Wroclaw/Breslau and Krzeszow/Kreisau (PL) or some more Czech towns - even Prague is possible as only 160 km distance from Dresden Each day (7-8 h) 580 euro.
