Bonjour! A traveler myself, it is always thrilling to share secrets, scandals, and some constructive gossip about some of the most exciting museums in the world, in Paris and Versailles, with people from all corners of the world and different walks of life. I learned Art History the hard way, with some of the most fascinating scholars that I sometimes see in documentaries. University College London was my academic home for three years, where I read Philosophy and Art History, obtaining my BA. The love for knowledge made me continue the scholar’s journey with a master's at the University of Cambridge, where I was happy to daydream and absorb the wisdom of an exciting community. But academia was not to be forever, and I did my own Emily in Paris move and fled to reinvent myself in the City of Dreamers - Paris, after a brief but solid time spent at the Saatchi Gallery, London, in the education department. That was a while ago; I’ve been a docent in Paris for more than a decade now. National museums and private art establishments like the Louis Vuitton Foundation have been the background of many docent’s walks through history, revolutions, and groundbreaking masterpieces. I discovered early on the pleasure of bridging the gap between academic knowledge and friendly versions of tales and stories about art, history, the people behind it, their aspirations, and their weaknesses. This helped me build the wisdom and creativity needed for writing, which is what I do on the side; I published two critically acclaimed novels in 5 years. Although following a vision of what every visit to the Louvre, Orsay, or Versailles could be, I am glad to hear the suggestions of my guests and integrate as much flexibility as possible, making these experiences customized and hard to forget.

How did the nobles say “hello”, ask for a glass of water, and what was the morning routine of the citadel of power back in those days? Did the king really change in public? Although the nobles portrayed themselves as divinities, is there a way to know what it was really like to live there and whether it was all just opulence, splendor and some decadent fun? A 2,5 h visit to Versailles Palace, the State Apartments and the gardens, with a focus on the theater of the court life, the oppressive taxation system behind, the daily life and torments of the nobles living there, fashion rules and the dawn of the French Revolution. ** Tickets: To avoid additional booking platform fees, entrance tickets are settled separately via PayPal. Ticket prices are €25 per person for Palace access or €35 per person for the full Estate and Gardens. Please note that guided tour reservations at Versailles require a minimum booking equivalent to 3 participants, even for private tours with fewer guests.. **
The visit starts and ends in Versailles. If you prefer to have private transportation organized, please ask me for a quote, and we’ll make sure to customize the tour.
