Gigantic Versailles ! was during the 17th and 18th centuries the political center of the French Kingdom, and for a large concern of Europe. From a hunting lodge to the Magnificent Palace, the kings didn't hesitate to spend unlimited budgets and use the top artists of the time (architects, painters, sculpteurs, furniture makers, fountainers) to offer the world the French idea of Heaven, Etiquette and Arts. A few steps away from Paris, travel back in the time of glorious French kingdom during the Sun King, Louis XV and XVI, Marie-Antoinette. See during a 4 hours tour including the driving, the amazing decors of Versailles and have a look at the majestic gardens. Not available on Mondays. The access to the castle depends of the booking time, the time of pick-up will be determined once the booking is confirmed. Please check availability with me before you book.
- Be picked up at your hotel and driven to Versailles within 30 minutes. - Start the visit with the Royal Chapel and the Hercule's salon, - See the Royal Apartments and the Hall of Mirrors, see the King's bedroom and finally the Salon of the wars. - Have a glimpse at the gardens with the Orangerie and the Fountain of Latone. - Be driven back to your hotel at the end of the tour. the tour might be slightly amended according to closure of rooms for restoration etc. This is a suggested itinerary, let me know what you would like to see and do and I will customize the tour accordingly!
