Versailles Half-Day Private Guided Tour

The intention of this tour is to give you a quick and comprehensive overview of the Versailles palace. What it means for France and the impact that this place had in our nowadays culture, art, fashion, political institutions and social structures. What I do is mostly use each and every detail of the rooms, chapel, state apartments, gardens, etc to give you and historic and artistic approach. The final intention is to have an immersive experience despite the fact that we are visiting a crowded and busy place. I try to get the most of this unusual and stunning landmark. In addition to this I pick you up at your hotel and I drop you off somewhere of your convenience in Paris. Also note that during the season, Thuesdays and weekends there is a fountain show at the gardens.

Pickup time either 9 AM or 2 PM. There is a 40 min drive aproximately, depending where your hotel is. I normally use this time frame to introcduce you historically and have an easier understanding once inside. Places visited: - King's State Apartments. A series of rooms that I will introduce one by one. We spend around 5 to 10 minutes in every room. - Queen's State Apartments. Paralel to the kings apartments, I do the the same. - Hall of the Mirrors. A longer stop. Is one of the highlights. Photos etc. - Royal Gardens. 30 to 40 minutes walk. Sometimes more if there is fountain display. This is an average visit. Of course, this can be adapted if you have something that you want to change.
