Hello everyone !!! My name is Steeve and I will love to be your guide for your next trip to Paris. Let's start off with a bit of my own experience in the Tourism Industry. Born in Paris near Montmartre, I grew up on the left bank of the city in St Germain where I graduated from high school. I decided to study in the Travel University in San Diego in 1997 and 1998 before specialising in the Tourism Industry for two more years in Montpellier, south of France, and then becoming a licensed guide in Paris. I am also graduated from the French Wine University of Suze-la-Rousse and worked as a sommelier in Paris, before specialising in leading wine tours around France. I am very flexible, a real history buff and love guiding people. Of course wine and food !!! we are in France. I love my country . . . I only operate private tours in deluxe minivans with pick-up and drop off to and from your hotel. Before starting the tour, I love taking a few minutes to discuss the tour itself with you, so that I can better understand your expectations and make the best choices for the day, all personalised towards your interests and desires. My tours are never the same, because people who book my tours are regarded as individuals, so my first goal is always to customise your tour based on your wishes. I love to personalise my tours, share small anecdotes so everybody can enjoy the trip. You are not just buying an excursion somewhere, but rather a full French experience, where the guide makes all the difference. The goal of this tour is for you to discover all the aspects of Champagne: the vineyards and history, a prestigious house of Champagne, a small producer and a commented tasting. Have fun !! ♥ Most Favorite tour for wine lover !! I will pick you up from your hotel in Paris at 8. 00 am in a deluxe private vehicle. Graduated from the French Wine University, I will teach you the main bases for a Champagne tasting and you will have the possibility to have a commented tasting with me in a unique Champagne bar. The best time for tasting is actually just before lunch ! Enjoy a selection of three or six glasses of Champagne in a great atmosphere. CHEERS !!! A little bit of history, a variety of visits and a tasting in the middle is the perfect recipe for a great one-day tour in Champagne in my opinion. I will love to share with you my passion and love about Champagne. You learn that there is a lot more to it than just drinking it and that there is a champagne for every time of the day
Your Paris tour itinerary
Only one hour East of Paris, you will begin your day with a stop in the middle of the vineyards where I will explain to you about Terroir, geography and grape varieties. Following this, a private, guided visit to a small and exclusive local wine producer will help you appreciate all the stages of making Champagne wines, from vinification to labelling the bottles. You will be able to taste 3 different Champagne : a Blanc de Noirs, a Blanc de Blancs and a Rosé de Saignée. After this first tasting, enjoy the scenery whilst driving along the Champagne wine road to reach the village of Hautvillers, the birthplace of Champagne, where Dom Perignon invented the precious beverage. Champagne Bar before Lunch !!! Following your lunch, you will visit the most prestigious House of Champagne in the world: Moet et Chandon, or similar and you will discover the opposite of what you saw in the morning : Luxury and Prestige! I always operate my tours in deluxe, air-conditioned vehicles, with pick-up and drop-off at your hotel. My vehicles are super clean and very comfortable. Depending on the size of your group, I will take the appropriate vehicle. - I have one deluxe black car Renault Espace with a capacity of 4 people maximum. It has a panoramic roof and it is great for city tour. - I also have a black Minivan Caravelle Volkswagen with a capacity of 7 people maximum, great for a larger group and big family.
