The Parisian Islands - explore the birthplace of Paris

Like many big cities, Paris was created on the banks of a river, the Seine. The two main islands of the Seine are Ile de la Cité and Ile Saint Louis. We will go for a walk around the two islands and we will try to avoid the crowds. I have always loved the islands. They have this air of presence, asserting that it was here, at all times from the existence of first Lutetia and then Paris that the inhabitants of the city have always lived, from Roman times until today.
