I am a tour guide, an author & a stand-up comedian 'Oh Eléonore, if only you were our history teacher!'. If I had a penny for every time I hear this comment, I would be rich! I can't tell you how much I love my job, and when I hear such positive feedback, I know I am doing something right. Before becoming a tour-guide, whenever I used to go and visit historical sites, I would leave in the exact state I had entered with the added frustration of not having understood a thing. It gave me the feeling history just wasn't for me. But how to look at the world we live in today without understanding the past? That is what motivated me to become a tour guide. Now I can grasp all that knowledge and I want to share it with you in the best way possible As a performer, I have created numerous one woman shows and I prepare my guided tours in much the same way. For me, going through a museum or a castle has to be an experience. I want you to leave the monument transformed, in a different emotional state than when you entered it. I use all my talents as a storyteller, stand-up comedian & my love of words to make my guided tours as alive & fun as possible. My tours are very interactive, which makes them perfect for children too! The most important for me is not just that you have fun, is that you learn lots, that it opens horizons in your head and that you remember it. We remember when we are touched so I make sure my tours don't just talk to your head but to your heart too! As an author, I have written one woman shows, children's books, and produced my own radio programme. Words are my primary material. They fascinate me. I truly believe that words are magic and can perform miracles. As a tour guide, my words can turn something ordinary, that you might not have noticed into something you'll suddenly deeply care about. That is what I love the most about my job. We can love everything once we understand it. For a fun tour that talks to your heart in a world that has fallen on its head, contact me! Very much looking forward to hearing from you! 'Our tour of the Louvre with you was the highlight of our trip'. . . 'We wouldn't have been able to grasp any of what you told us on our own, thank you so much'. . . These are just 2 of the many positive feedback I have received from this tour! Within 2 hours we will explore the essentials of the Louvre, seeing the most iconic art pieces, the ones you absolutely have to see once you visit. If you don't know much (or anything) about art, don't worry: I am the right guide for you! I'll personalize my approach to what you want to know & in a way that you can grasp and enjoy everything. Trust me, once the tour is over, you'll see Mona Lisa & Venus de Milo like friends! Embark on this Louvre experience with me, it might be one of the highlights of your trip! Only one secondary effect: you might want to do more tours with me afterwards! DO NOT BOOK TICKETS FOR THE LOUVRE - WRITE TO ME AS SOON AS YOU HAVE BOOKED, TELL ME HOW MANY PEOPLE ARE IN YOUR GROUP & IF THERE ARE ANY UNDER 18. I WILL BUY THE TICKETS
NOTE: The earlier in advance that you book this tour, the more likely it is to secure tickets to the museum. ·Once we've gathered, we'll enter to the museum ready to explore. ·At first, we will travel back in time to discover the Medieval Louvre. ·We'll proceed to the Greek & Roman department of Sculptures to meet the famous Venus Di Milo. ·Afterwards, we'll head to the Italian Gallery to see Mona Lisa (of course!) and few surprises along the way. ·At last, we'll go to the French department with 19th century paintings where you will see Gericault's famous 'Raft of the Medusa'. Please get in touch if you have a specific request and I'll gladly customize your tour. Do not book tickets for the Louvre Tour. Write to me as soon as you have booked a tour with me and tell me how many are in your group and if there are any under 18. I will then buy the tickets.
