Join me, Anna, for a private day trip from Paris to two of France’s most iconic destinations. We begin in Giverny, where Claude Monet lived and painted for more than forty years. Explore his charming home, colorful flower garden, Japanese bridge and famous water-lily pond while discovering the story behind his art. We then continue to Versailles, where I will guide you through the magnificent State Apartments and Hall of Mirrors. Hear engaging stories about Louis XIV, Marie Antoinette and life at the royal court. Depending on the season and your interests, we may also explore the gardens. As your licensed guide and driver, I will take care of the route and timing so you can enjoy a relaxed and personal experience. The tour is limited to three guests and includes transportation in my comfortable Toyota, with pickup and drop-off at your Paris accommodation. Discover art, history and remarkable landscapes in one unforgettable private day.
Your Paris tour itinerary
I will pick you up from your Paris accommodation in the morning, and we will drive to Giverny in my private vehicle. In Giverny, we will visit Claude Monet’s house and explore the Clos Normand flower garden, the Japanese bridge and the famous water-lily pond. You will have time to enjoy the gardens, take photographs and discover the setting that inspired Monet’s masterpieces. After the visit, we will stop for lunch at a local restaurant before continuing to Versailles. At the Palace of Versailles, I will guide you through the Royal Chapel, the State Apartments, the King’s and Queen’s rooms and the Hall of Mirrors. Depending on the season, available time and your interests, we may also walk through part of the gardens. At the end of the visit, we will return to Paris, where I will drop you off at your accommodation. The itinerary may be adjusted according to traffic, opening hours and timed-entry availability.
