Bonjour! Aloïs here, I live in Paris since 16 years and still fall in love with my city everyday, come on a tour with me to experience Paris like a parisian. As a tour guide, my favorite thing is to point out the little details you may not have noticed and to explore lesser known places. A detour out of the beaten path next to the most famous monuments takes you to unexpected gems. Of course I will take you to the big sights, Notre-dame, le sacré-coeur, la tour Eiffel, le Louvre, and for each show you where to look at them from and tell the stories behind. We are so lucky to live in a city rich of thousands years of history: let's explore together the antic ruins in the Latin quarter, the medieval mansions in Marais, or the former ateliers of Montmartre's famous painters. When we are together I am flexible and adapt to your likings :) Let me know your passions and I might show you something special. Or we can stop for café and delicious food wherever, I will show you the good spots. Last but not least my passion for history and beauty is related to my other job, as a personal stylist. I take my clients to the best stores in towns whether new or vintage and give them tips and tricks to look their most fabulous. I also published 3 books on fashion styling and fashion history. In a day, we can do three neighbourhoods/areas. . . to pick and choose below: - Le Marais (Medieval streets, aristocrats mansions, secret gardens and fashionable stores) - Notre-Dame and île de la Cité (the heart of Paris) - Quartier Latin (Panthéon, bookstores, library, Sorbonne) - Montmartre (Village feel, artists home, moulin rouge, view over the city) - Palais Royal and Opéra (fabulous gardens, secret passages and wonderful view) - Saint germain des prés (jardins du Luxembourg, iconic cafés, fancy ancient shops) - Champs Elysées - Montorgueil (busy paved streets, iconic food places, old meets new) - Belleville (off the beaten path mixed neighborhood with both busy and charming streets) - Père Lachaise (iconic cemetery with romantic feel) - A french market (that's a staple of french life!) All of this with my help to select the perfect lunch place for you and eat some delicacies along the day.
