Hi there! My name is Sunday -funny name I know! :) - a licensed Tour Guide in France, as well as an Art Advisor for art collectors. Originally from Australia, I fell in love with Paris growing up and have lived in the City of Lights for over 10 years. At the same time, I love it for other reasons; its pastries, cakes, macaroons, its wine, its tasty treats and its design! As a native English speaker my clients find it easy to understand and communicate with me. I work as a Private Tour Guide for individuals, families and small groups, as well as for exclusive guiding companies, from whom I have received many 5 star reviews. Guiding is a passion for me; I adore meeting new people and sharing the love of my adoptive city, its art, its monuments, its style, and its history. ABOUT MY TOURS: As an Art Historian/advisor and Licensed Guide, I'd be happy to guide you through the Louvre, to catch a glimpse of Mona Lisa's smile, to see the beauty in Monet's Water Lily's at the Musee d'Orsay, and to marvel at the wonder of the Eiffel Tower and the architecture of Notre Dame. Let's explore Paris through the best croissant in the city and coffee on a terrace, and lets sample some delicious cheeses next, pairing them with a tasty glass of Burgundy to boot! We could then wander through the design districts and look at where the top designers go to source their pieces. All my essential tours are listed, however should you be after something more unique, I am more than happy to tailor something to your wants and needs; let's discuss. I can adjust tour duration, starting time and meeting point, transportation or anything you want so as to ensure you have the best experience here in Paris! BA in Creative Arts as well as an MA in Art Curatorship from the University of Melbourne, Australia, specializing in late 19th and 20th Century Art. Work experience as an assistant curator in Australia, as well as at several reputable commercial art galleries and with many high-profile interior designers. Currently working as a private art and design advisor to international art collectors, and as a Licensed Guide in France. I am not a driver. I can accompany you in your vehicle or I can arrange for a separate car and driver.

Visit the main monuments of Paris by foot. This being said, transportation can also be an additional option, for example, we could take the metro at any point. You'd get to explore the unmissable sights of Paris including Notre Dame, Opera Garnier, Arc de Triomphe and the Eiffel Tower, in the company of a guide who adores her adopted home town. We will reveal the hidden secrets of Paris, as well as cover the extensive history of France and its Capital City, diving into its Medeival roots, walking along its cobble-stoned streets, and marveling at Empirical Monuments. On this tour we'll be examining architecture, style, fashion, history and perhaps even picking up a tasty treat along the way! Should you wish to tailor the tour please let me know, I am happy to accommodate your needs. To give you some ideas, additional stops in my walking tour could include The Marais, Latin Quarter, St Germain, Palais Royale, Tuileries and/or Montmartre.
·We'll commence our tour meeting outside the metro Saint-Germain de Pres. where I'll begin with an Orientation & Overview of Paris, its lay-out, the division of arrondissements and history of its formation. ·We'll then check out some of Paris' most famous cafe's, observe the 'en terrace' culture and perhaps grab a coffee or macaroon to begin our journey. ·You'll then be guided through the medieval, cobble-stoned streets towards one of Paris' marvels, the Church of Notre Dame and see the territory where the city was founded. ·From here we'll cross over to the Right-Bank where we'll explore Paris' transformation from medieval city, to the Modern Haussmannian Paris of today, including the piece de resistance of 19th Century French architecture, the Opera Garnier. ·From there, we'll wander past the Tuileries Gardens to witness Napoleon's Arch de Triomphe. ·Finally, we'll see the marvel of the Eiffel Tower to complete our venture, exploring the controversies and fascination tied to these 2 iconic monuments.
Tell your guide which places matter to you, skip what doesn't, and tailor the experience for your group's needs. Not finding what you want? Message your guide to build something unique.
