I am a French art historian. I was born and raised in the Latin Quarter of Paris. I studied in both New York and Paris, where I got my PhD in the History of Art in 2023 at the Sorbonne University. My Thesis examined french landscape paintings from the 17th century. In 2017, I obtained my Guide License from the Ministere de la Culture and have since been organizing tours in prominent museums throughout Paris, including the Louvre, Orsay, Pompidou, Versailles, Notre Dame, and Orangerie. Currently, I collaborate with curators at the Louvre and frequently compose exhibition catalogues and essays. My passion for imparting knowledge to visitors from diverse backgrounds remains steadfast. Overview of your Paris tour
Discover the pictural revolution that took place in the last decades of the 19th century in France with a private professional tour guide who's knowledgable and passionate about impressionnism. This new way of depicting life was created by avant-garde artists so ahead of their time that they often got rejected by their peers : Courbet, Manet, Renoir, Degas, Monet, Van Gogh, Gauguin, Toulouse-Lautrec. . . The tour will offer a chronological vision from the classical style taught at the Academy to Van Gogh's fantastic visions. It will also include a great overlook of the Orsay building itself, which used to be one of the greatest train stations of Paris. As your guide, I am able to provide you with an unique opportunity to view specific works of art not readily known nor accessible to other patrons.
