Discover Impressionism on this private 2-hour guided visit of the Musée d’Orsay, one of Paris’s most beautiful museums, housed in a former railway station. This tour explores the artistic revolutions of the 19th century, from Realism and the Barbizon School to Impressionism and Post-Impressionism. Together, we will discover how Monet, Renoir, Degas, Van Gogh, Gauguin, and others transformed the way we see light, colour, and everyday life. More than an art visit, this is a storytelling experience. I will share the lives behind the masterpieces — friendships, rivalries, struggles, and inspirations — to bring the artworks to life. Ideal for first-time visitors, art lovers, and families. The visit can be adapted for children with simple explanations and engaging stories. Museum entrance tickets are not included. It was a great tour and Celia was able to explain why the artists and their contributions to the art world was so important. Best was she could explain in Cantonese to my parents as well. We brought along a scavenger hunt and she incorporated that in to keep my kids entertained in the tour as well. Celia was great!
My parents enjoyed it very much their words: Celia obviously now’s a lot about art. She also had very interesting stories to tell, asked about our particular interests first and focused the tour on those areas. We had earpieces that made easy for her to conduct her tour in a quiet voice even in a crowded gallery.
Celia provided us an excellent tour of Musèe ďOrsay that was informative and entertaining. She also did an amazing job accommodating two members of our group in their 80’s who needed assistance.
We had an excellent tour with Celia at the Orsay Museum. She was very knowledgeable about the various styles of art and the artists displayed at the museum. She also provided a small headset system for us which allowed us to hear her as the crowd grew and grew through our time there. A very good experience for my wife and I.

The 2 hours tour of the Orsay was just right. Celia linked the painting she showed to what was going on in society at the time and how they differed from the movement prior to that period. She gave a good analysis of the work without going into such detail that it became overwhelming. We would highly recommend her.
