Normandy D-DAY & Mont-Saint-Michel - 2-Day Private Tour

On this 2-day tour, we will visit the wonder of the western world, the gothic abbey of Mont-Saint-Michel as well as explore the landing beaches & emblematic sites of D-Day in Normandy & uncover the epic story of William the Conqueror through the majestic Bayeux Tapestry. On Day-1, we will drive to Mont-Saint-Michel & walk the 250 steps to the summit, rewarding us with sweeping views of the bay & rough English Channel tides. We will explore the monastery, the ramparts & the narrow streets of the medieval village. After a night in charming Bayeux and with a visit to the one-of-a-kind Bayeux Tapestry, we will spend Day-2 reliving WWII at the battlefield site of La Pointe du Hoc where numerous bomb craters still scatter the landscape & at numerous sections of Omaha Beach by retracing the steps of the courageous US soldiers who secured a beachhead on the most hostile seashore of D-Day. Lastly, we will pay respects to the thousands of heroes buried at the beautiful coastal US cemetery.
