Bonjour! My name is Oxana, and I am a National State approved French tour guide. I was born in Moscow, Russia, from where my family moved to France in 1998. I have been living in Paris since, and now know this city like the back of my hand. After finishing secondary school, I first studied fine arts at the Sorbonne University and then joined the school for professional guides from which I graduated, in 2009, with a diploma and a national tourist guide license issued by the French Ministry of Culture and Tourism. Since then I have been working as a tour guide in Paris and its nearby regions with people from all over the world. I myself am a passionate traveler. I have visited over 20 countries in Europe, Asia and Latin America. I speak four languages: English, French, Russian and Spanish, which helps when I am travelling, discovering new continents, people, their history, their culture. As well as visiting other countries, I like to travel inside France, whose regions have so much to offer in terms of cultural heritage, landscapes and, of course, local cooking traditions. However, in spite of there being so many other amazing places on Earth, I truly believe that my city is the best one. Overview of your Paris tour
Are you passionate about history and the Middle-Ages? Do you want to know more about the gothic style and architecture? Then discover Medieval Paris with a history and art expert! During my tour you will learn the history and legends of the world's most famous gothic cathedral Notre-Dame de Paris. You will walk the halls of Paris' oldest royal palace and visit Marie-Antoinette's cell in the Conciergerie. You will learn the history of the kings' chapel the Sainte-Chapelle and might visit it right after my tour with your skip-the-line tickets. IMPORTANT: From July 1st, 2026 a special reservation should be made on the Cathedral official web site for any guided tour inside Notre Dame. Otherwise all explanations about Notre-Dame will be given outside for a free inside visit. From January 2026 due to new reservation rules only outside visit of the Sainte Chapelle is possible. Free visit of the inside of the Sainte Chapelle is possible after my tour.

Your Paris tour itinerary
During the tour, we will discover major Gothic monuments of Paris: Notre-Dame de Paris, the Conciergerie and the Sainte-Chapelle. All three are located on the Ile de la Cite in the historical heart of the city just a hundred meters one from another. Aside from the story of the hunchback, the Cathedral of Notre-Dame impresses its visitors because of its refined architecture, statues, gargoyles and flying-butresses. After Notre-Dame, we will discover the nearby Conciergerie. At first, the residence of the French kings, centuries before the Louvre or Versailles, the Conciergerie was later turned into a terrible prison, where Queen Marie-Antoinette and hundreds of prisoners spent their last days before the guillotine. This tour includes only an outside visit of the Sainte-Chapelle. However, during the tour I will give you all necessary historical and practical information and will help you with buying necessary skip-the-line tickets for an inside visit of the Sainte Chapelle right after my tour.
