Medieval Paris Private Tour: Notre-Dame, Sainte-Chapelle, Conciergerie

During the tour, we will discover major Gothic monuments of Paris: Notre-Dame de Paris (inside guided tour is possible if there is no long queue at the entrance), the Conciergerie and the Sainte-Chapelle. All three are located on the Ile de la Cite in the historical heart of the city just a hundred meters one from another. Aside from the story of the hunchback, the Cathedral of Notre-Dame impresses its visitors because of its refined architecture, statues, gargoyles and flying-butresses. After admiring the facade of Notre-Dame, we will visit the Sainte-Chapelle famous for its incredible XIII century stained glass windows. We will also discover the nearby Conciergerie. At first, the residence of the French kings, centuries before the Louvre or Versailles, the Conciergerie was later turned into a terrible prison, where Queen Marie-Antoinette and hundreds of prisoners spent their last days before the guillotine.
