The Louvre is one of the biggest and best-known Museums in the world, that big that you could easily get lost inside, but during this tour, I will be the one who will guide you into this gorgeous maze to show you all of the magnificent works and highlights that are exhibited there. We will discover the Greek sculptures with the famous Venus de Milo or the Winged Victory of Samothrace and I will explain to you why they are so famous. Then I will show you the Italian paintings of the Renaissance and, of course, the most famous painting in the world: the Mona Lisa! We will see some French paintings of the XIX century like the Raft of the Medusa or The Liberty leading the people. And do you know that the Louvre was a Royal Palace before becoming a Museum? There are so many stories to be told about this place but also there's so much to be seen at the same time.
This entire tour itinerary is taking place inside the Louvre Museum: - explanations of the Louvre - Greek sculptures - Italians paintings of the Renaissance - French paintings of the XIXth century I know a secret entrance in the Louvre to skip the line but this entrance is closed on Friday. I recommend to choose the other days if it is possible. During the months of June, July or August, please contact me prior to booking so we can make sure there is ticket availability.
