Hello everyone, I am Caroline and I am a French tour guide from Paris! I have a passion for history and the city of Paris, that is why I decided to be a tour guide in 2010 after having my license. The Louvre is one of the biggest and best-known Museums in the world, that big that you could easily get lost inside, but during this tour, I will be the one who will guide you into this gorgeous maze to show you all of the magnificent works and highlights that are exhibited there. We will discover the Greek sculptures with the famous Venus de Milo or the Winged Victory of Samothrace and I will explain to you why they are so famous. Then I will show you the Italian paintings of the Renaissance and, of course, the most famous painting in the world: the Mona Lisa! We will see some French paintings of the XIX century like the Raft of the Medusa or The Liberty leading the people. And do you know that the Louvre was a Royal Palace before becoming a Museum? There are so many stories to be told about this place but also there's so much to be seen at the same time.
Caroline was wonderful! She was on time, organized and knows her art and history. The Louvre is overwhelming due to the shear size of the place and the number of visitors. It was just a relief to simply follow her and learn about the beautiful art. I would not hesitated to recommend her, well worth the cost. Thank you Caroline!

This entire tour itinerary is taking place inside the Louvre Museum: - explanations of the Louvre - Greek sculptures - Italians paintings of the Renaissance - French paintings of the XIXth century The cost of the tickets is not included in the price of the tour. Since january 2026, there are new prices and new rules for the Louvre tours: the cost of the ticket is 28 euros per person plus 20 euros for the booking of the time slot.
