Dear guest, I am a friendly licensed guide offering tours in and around Paris. Originally from the countryside region of Burgundy (Make wine, not war!!!), I arrived in Paris 16 years ago. I first fell in love with the city… and then fell in love with a Parisian in a grey suit… and together we made… two little Parisians! Whether it is your first or tenth visit, the possibilities are endless. Monuments, museums, walking tours or a mix of all these. . . I can also arrange private transportation on request. I can start early and/or finish late. Feeling lost? I will guide you through the various options or tailor a tour from scratch based on your special interests. Guiding is not only about history. I like to give local colour to my tours, sharing the little details that make Paris so special, sharing food too, taking you to the hidden bistrot around the corner for an express French immersion!!! … à bientôt ! PS: What you want to see is not included in my list of tours (Marmottan museum, Orangerie, Opera House, Rodin Museum, etc…)? Please send me an email and I will arrange a tour. Licensed Guide - License n° 1475 142P Master's Degree in English Literature Technical Translation Degree I have my driving license but I am not a driver guide, I can arrange a driver for you if you would like a city tour or day excursion!

Hemingway, Scott Fitzgerald, Ezra Pound, Henry Miller: Paris in the roaring twenties attracted an incredible number of promising American writers. Among them was a young journalist named Ernest Hemingway, from Oak Park Illinois. Would he have imagined then that he would receive the Nobel Prize thirty years later? Maybe not, but it is in Paris that his dream of becoming a writer came true. Why Paris? How were these early years decisive for his career as a writer? Who were the women of his life? Heavy drinker, boxer but also a disciplined and hard-working writer and a loving father. Between myth and reality, let's walk in the steps of Hemingway. This 3h00 walk will take you from the Latin District to the Luxembourg Garden, Montparnasse and will end in Saint Germain des Prés. Sites will be seen only from outside and include places where Hemingway lived, worked, drank as well as his favorite strolls.
The tour starts at the bottom of picturesque Rue Mouffetard, through part of the latin district, on to the Pantheon, Odeon theater. We will then cross the Luxembourg garden towards Montparnasse for a look at La Closerie des Lilas and finish in the heart of the Montparnasse district near La Rotonde and Le Dome cafés.
