This was our 2nd day with Julien P. He is great. I would give him more than 5 stars if I could. He is so knowledgeable about art, architecture and history that he made French history come alive for us. We walk a bit slowly at times, but he made sure we were able to see and do everything we wanted and more. My husband and I recommend him highly.
We spent an entire day with Julien visiting Versailles. We arranged for pick-up from the hotel and drop-off at the airport for our flight home. Julien was great--very responsive to all communication before the tour, that morning, and follow-up afterwards. He is a true local Parisian and was very knowledgeable, friendly, and professional. Julien made this day so amazing! He picks you up, drives you to Versailles and then ensures you take in ALL of its glory! From beginning to end, we had a most amazing time! Versailles is the type of place that you overwhelm you if you don't have a guide to help you put it all into context. Julien is that guide. We loved the palace, the incredibly beautiful gardens, the Grand Trianon, the Petit Trianon and Queen’s Hamlet. It was so much but it was all so amazing to experience. We had a lovely picnic lunch there as well. Julien goes above and beyond. I highly recommend.
