Full Day Guided tour of Versailles Palace and Giverny

This tour is really popular among travelers since these are two attractive locations. I will pick you up at 9 AM at your hotel and head to Versailles with skip-the-line tickets which I booked in advance. During our 2-hour visit, you'll learn about the state apartments, hall of the mirrors, chapel & battle gallery. Then we'll head out to the spectacular gardens. From April to October, it is possible to see the water fountain show in the gardens on the weekends and some Tuesdays. We'll stop for lunch in the charming town of Giverny with several choices of restaurants I can recommend. See where Claude Monet, the father of Impressionism, lived and worked for 43 years in Giverny as we visit his house and the lavish gardens that inspired most of his paintings during this late period. Art history is a passion, through tours like this we can understand 2 different trends (classic and impressionism) that lead us to understand how we conceive art today. This is the key educational aspect from my point of view.
