This tour is a journey into the colourful world of the Musée d'Orsay, which from a train station has become the unmissable destination for Impressionism and Symbolism's lovers. We will admire the perfect style of some academic painters like Bouguereau but we will also breathe the innovation brought by artists like Millet, Corot and Courbet. We will then move up to the top floor where the incredible works by Monet, Manet, Degas, Renoir, Sisley, Pissarro, Berthe Morisot, Cézanne and Van Gogh will overwhelm us with their light, courage and joy. We will linger in front of the artworks of those misunderstood artists who had the bravery to work en plein air, under the sun, the wind and the snow, heedless of being mocked by their contemporaries, but with only one objective: capturing the moment, the light, the colours. Lastly, we will visit the Post-Impressionism's section with works by Gauguin, Odilon Redon, Seurat and Toulouse-Lautrec.
- We will meet outside the museum and then will start our journey from the Academic art and Realism's section. - We will then visit the fifth floor with the Impressionists' artworks and end the tour after admiring the Post-Impressionism's works
