Excellent tour with good guide and driver

This was our second day spent with fabulous Elizabeth. We enjoyed our morning drive north through the rural landscapes to the Pululahua volcano. After, we so enjoyed "science class" at the Middle of the World, experiencing the coriolis effect. It was just crazy watching water drain clockwise 5 feet south of the equator line, then turn counter-clockwise moving just 5 feet north of the equator line. Standing on the equator line, the water just literally drops straight down the drain. To instill true local flavor, as requested, Elizabeth made sure we would enjoy a roadside cafe where we chowed down on fritada and caldo de pata. We most highly recommend Elizabeth for anyone visiting Quito -- she is such a pleasure.
