I am a Carioca (born and raised in Rio), who lived in Hamburg, Paris, London , and Manaus and since 1986 have been back to my home city. Rio has one of the most beautiful shores in the country. The south shore is an ideal tour for those who have already seen the highlights in the city and want to taste a bit of Rio's "countryside" and secluded beaches of the south. In the Barra area and the far southwest shore is where you meet sea and forest at its best. A few good seafood restaurants will complete your day. If you ask me why you should take this tour? oftentimes you will find Rio much bigger than what you expected it to be. Best way to leave the buzz of the metropolis behind is to explore the southwestern part of the city, its beautiful shores with a very good offer of seafood restaurants. I am already waiting for you!
Your Rio De Janeiro tour itinerary
Tour itinerary will be the following: - We will drive southwards through Barra and Recreio beaches to reach the wild beaches in the south. - Depending on the weather conditions, we can swim or visit the Casa do Pontal Museum. - Lunch at one of the Seafood restaurants is a possibility and shopping for crystal and semi-precious stones is also possible on our way back into town. Tour can be customized upon request.
