Access to the monument platform will be available only via stairways. The completion of the service is estimated for May 2027. IMPACTS ON THE EXPERIENCE: · Visits to the Christ Monument became much lengthier and are now taking 3.5 to 4 hours on regular days and up to 5 hours on busy days, even for those who have pre-purchased tickets online. · Visitors without reduced mobility should also be aware of the physical effort required for the route.

Daniel was a great guide. Very professional and friendly. We had requested a pretty challenging itinerary and Daniel picked us up at the airport and made certain we saw everything that we wanted to see including Sugar Loaf, the Santa Teresa neighborhood/tile steps, and Christ the Redeemer. Perhaps my favorite stop was lunch at a small restaurant in the Santa Teresa neighborhood. Loved the local food! Loved Rio! Loved this tour!

Great guide. So much better than cruise ship guides we've endured. We got to see beautiful sights, covered lots of the city, main streets, and back alleys. Dan tells you what you need to know, answers your questions and doesn't wear you out with idle chatter. I think we made many of our fellow cruisers jealous with what we were able to see.
