Hi I'm Val, I have been working in the travel business since 2001. For 14 years I lived in USA and worked mainly introducing North America, between Canada and USA, to Brazilian tourists. Some years later I moved to France where I started targeting the American and Canadian markets as well as the Brazilian tourists that were visiting Europe. I'm back in Brazil since 2001 since then I have been working as an official tour guide in Rio de Janeiro. Rio is a city that cannot be seen on just one day. However for travelers with limited time we suggest to give an early morning to explore Brazil most important and famous icon, the Christ Redeemer. 3 out of 5 Brazilian icons are located in Rio de Janeiro, so just in case the morning weather is not so clear or travelers have a more flexible schedule we'll certainly cover more of our wonderful city! ***CUSTOMIZE - In case you are cruise passengers with luggage, please let me know and I will create a customized tour for you

We had an excellent day with Valeria, she took us to all the major sights carefully avoiding the carnival traffic. She gave us lots of facts about Rio and the life of its residents and introduced us to several local foods and drinks.She was welcoming and friendly and gave us useful tips for our stay in Rio we would highly recommend her as a guide.
This is a one day sightseeing visiting the most famous attraction of Rio: - preferably starting with our Christ Redeemer statue, - Tijuca's forest, - famous beaches, - Lagoa and our beautiful Botanical garden. Details on the program like stop for lunch or snacks or local souvenirs, visit to specific sights are subjected to time and each customer interest.

Private transportation. For 2 to 3 people I drive my own car, a new GM spin (it's a spacious stationwagon). For larger groups I rent a bigger van with a driver - a Mercedez spin good for 8 people. Pls check price for groups above 3 people.
